1. Winter – December and January
You’re unlikely to get much rain at this time of year, it is likely to be cool – temperatures of 15 to 20oC are common meaning jackets are the must of the day, and it’s not the time of year to anticipate much swimming.
- Pros: A very low chance of disruption or cancellation of the cruise trip; largely dry conditions and fewer visitors
- Cons: Cooler temperatures and often misty days
2. Spring – February to April
The weather is still dry but warming up nicely – arguably the best time of year to be on the water.
- Pros: Warm, dry, sunny, good temperatures for a spot of swimming and sundeck relaxation
- Cons: It’s a busy time of year and some of the popular spots are likely to have large numbers of boats and visitors
